I have got an interesting email from Google Human Resources (HR) with a new job offer. Really, I would like to work for one of the best companies in the world but I don't like this kind of spam. Every day I have my mailbox full of job offers from various sources, personal agencies, spam robots, and now directly from Google HR Recruiters?
Only one quick check on Web and I have found that I was not the only one who was contacted by Google with a job offer, so it looks like a massive hiring campaign because "Google is spamming everyone these days". (See the related links below.)
Someone has already informed Google "to stop their non-targeted massive hiring campaign", and you can find very unsatisfied opinions on the Web. What do you think? Is it a good way how to hire IT specialists?
Would you like to work for Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, IBM, or Oracle?
The best way how to find a good job related to your interest and your experience is to check regularly job pages of your preferred company with current opportunities:
- Google Jobs
- Yahoo! HotJobs
- Careers at Yahoo!
- Microsoft Jobs
- IBM Jobs
- Oracle Opportunities
When you find something interesting and if you are up to 50% of the requirements then go for it and send them your professional CV. You know, many times the international companies have set their requirements very high and nobody is able to fulfill them.
So, it is better to try to send your CV and learn additional tools or languages subsequently when you have a good motivation as to wait and do nothing.
